For the health, safety and well-being of our patients, employees and community at large, our office will be closed to the public effective Monday, March 23. We are reducing our contact hours to 10am - 2pm, Monday through Friday, for patients and the community at large to call into our office. The office will tentatively reopen on April 6, 2020.
We feel that the best way to serve you in light of Covid-19 is to closely follow the guidelines set by the United States Department of Health, Center for Disease Control and Prevention and our state and health officials.
In lieu of our in-house treatments, we will continue to optimize your wellness by offering telemedicine sessions with our practitioners via phone and video chat.
During this time, we are here to answer your questions via Email, Phone and all social outlets. Stay in tune with us as we will be sharing informative news, tips, and doing Question and Answer sessions on Instagram Live with our practitioners.
We will continue to maintain your wellness by offering Herbal and Functional Medicine Telemedicine consults by phone or video chat. Telemedicine refers to a video visit with a remotely located care provider (such as our Physicians) over a secure connection. The patient uses a website link or an app to connect.
To utilize our telemedicine appointments, you will need the Zoom app, available for free. Zoom is an encrypted application that allows you to video chat straight from your phone or computer. This will allow you to have one-on-one virtual consultations with our physicians from the safety of your home!
As a way to show our appreciation for those on the frontlines of the COVID-19 pandemic, Telemedicine consultations are free for emergency healthcare workers with proof of hospital employment.
Our physicians will be compounding personalized herbal formulas, making your tailored regimens as prescribed in your herbal telemedicine consultations. To complement our Telemedicine consultations, we are offering Curbside Herbal Medicine Pickup. Once your herbal prescription is ready, you will be contacted. You can pick up the prescription curbside at Eastern Acupuncture And Wellness, delivered straight to your car to stay in par with social distancing. Effective, safe and simple.
